Operation
Function check
Before starting a weighing series, perform a function check of the weighing platform and
the connected weighing terminal.
1. Make sure that the weighing platform is connected to a weighing terminal and that the
weighing terminal is switched on.
2. Make sure that the weighing platform is unloaded and the display of the weighing
terminal shows 0.
3. Load the weighing platform.
The indicator must show a value different from 0.
4. Unload the weighing platform.
The indicator must return to 0.
Verification test
For a verification test refer to the user manual of the connected weighing terminal.
If the verification seal is broken, verification is no longer valid.

3.3 Important notes

3.3.1 PBK9-series Calibration
The load cells used in the PBK9-series weighing platforms offer automatic calibration with
an internal calibration weight (FACT).
Regular calibration supports the accuracy of your weighing system.
➜ Follow the instructions described in the User manual of the attached weighing terminal
to activate calibration.
Notes
The calibration procedure can only be performed up to a certain preload range. For more
details refer to the Installation information.
