If your cat has only just become familiar with the using a cat fl ap, it may take
some patience to teach your cat how the magnetic function works. When your
cat makes progress, give them a lot of praise. Keep repeating the exercise
until your cat can come through the cat fl ap comfortably.
Replacing the flap
1. From the inside of the house, ensure that the 4-Way Lock is in the off
position (to allow entry and exit).
2. Remove the battery cover
cover by pressing fi rmly on the
two indents, pushing the cover
upwards (Fig. 14).
3. Remove the fl ap and U-shape
(you may need to tap this from the
outside of the house) (Fig. 14).
4. Remove the fl ap from the
U-shape by taking the fl ap
hinges out of the U-shape
bearings (Fig. 14).
5. Replace the new fl ap into the
U-shape ensuring that the
groove at the bottom of the fl ap
is on the left hand side and is in line with the U-shape groove (Fig. 14).
6. Position the fl ap and the U-shape back into frame, replace the battery cover
cover and reposition the 4-Way Lock to the desired setting (Fig. 14).

Cleaning the cat fl ap
Your cat fl ap is constructed in the highest quality material with a toughened
fl ap and has been designed to last for many years. To maintain its
appearance, occasional wiping with a damp cloth is all that is necessary.

Product (please refer to this Installation Guide for details). Radio Systems
Corporation recommends that this Product is not used if your pet is aggressive
and accepts no liability for determining suitability in individual cases. If you
are unsure whether this Product is appropriate for your pet, please consult
your veterinarian or certifi ed trainer prior to use. Proper use includes, without
limitation, reviewing the entire Installation Guide and any specifi c
Caution statements.
3. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use
This Product is designed for use with pets only. This pet training device is not
intended to harm, injure or provoke. Using this Product in a way that is not
intended could result in violation of Federal, State or local laws.

In no event shall Radio Systems Corporation or any of its associated
companies be liable for (i) any indirect, punitive, incidental, special or
consequential damage and/or (ii) any loss or damages whatsoever arising
out of or connected with the misuse of this Product. The Purchaser assumes all
risks and liability from the use of this Product to the fullest extent permissible
by law. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this clause 4 shall limit Radio
Systems Corporation's liability for human death or personal injury or fraud or
fraudulent misrepresentation.

and notices governing this Product from time to time. If such changes have
been notifi ed to you prior to your use of this Product, they shall be binding on
