!
The glass plate has a functional high-quality coating
that must not the destroyed. Damage leads to faulty
measurements.
i
Dirt on the glass plate leads to problems with
vehicle detection and tire detection. Incorrect or no
regional values are displayed.
i
The glass plate must therefore only be cleaned with
a paper towel moistened with clean water or the
glass squeegee supplied.
Depending on the degree of soiling, no regional
measured values are displayed and TTM 2104/2204 switches
to display of global measured values.
i
In the case of very severe soiling, faulty measured
values result.
"
To prevent observational errors, keep the diagnostic
opening and glass plate clean. If necessary, remove
coarse dirt and clean with water.

Exhaust gas on the glass plate

i
Under certain climatic conditions and when the
discharge opening of the vehicle's exhaust system
is directed downward, a deposit may form on the
glass plate of a module. This must be kept in mind
especially in the case of continuous testing.
Deposits on the glass plate can lead to observational
errors.
