1. Switch off the appliance and remove the dust container
2. Hold the dust container low over a dustbin.
3. Take out / clean filter fleece and filter sieve as described above

4. Now twist the central laminar filter off the cover by turning it counter-clockwise (Fig. 19).
5. For a rough cleaning, tap the dirt from the central laminar filter by lightly beating it over a dustbin.
6. To thoroughly clean the central laminar filter without water, use the supplied furniture brush as shown
(Fig. 20).
7. If the central laminar filter is still dirty after dry cleaning, rinse it thoroughly by hand in clear running cold or
hand warm water until all dirt has been removed.
8. On this occasion, also take out the motor protection filter (Fig. 21).
9. Also rinse the motor protection filter thoroughly by hand in clear running cold or hand warm water until all
dirt has been removed.
ATTENTION:
The filters are washable, but not suitable for cleaning in washing machines or dishwashers. Also, do not use
detergents or brushes with hard bristles for to clean the filters. Let the filters dry for approx 24 hours at room
temperature after cleaning them. Only put them back into the appliance when they are completely dry.
10. If the filters are damaged or too dirty, replace them with new ones (ordering information
„Accessories/Spare Parts").
11. Put the new / cleaned and completely dry motor protection filter back into its holder. Make sure it is exactly
and correctly fitted.
12. Lock the new / cleaned and completely dry central laminar filter onto the dust container cover again by
turning it clockwise. Make sure it is fitted correctly as otherwise the filter sieve will not lock into place.
13. Put filter sieve and filter fleece on as described above
and filter sieve".
14. Put the cover back onto the dust container. Make sure when replacing it that the arrow on the cover is
exactly above the "open" marking on the dust container (Fig. 22). Fix the cover by twisting it in the "close"
direction.
15. Put the dust container back into its holder.
16. Close the housing cover. The release buttons must click shut audibly. Check that the housing cover is fitted
securely.
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Push down the release catch of the exhaust filter cover and fold down the exhaust filter cover (Fig. 23).
3. Remove the exhaust filter (Fig. 24).
4. Tap the dirt out of the exhaust filter over a dustbin. Should this be insufficient, clean the the filter with a soft
brush, e.g. the furniture brush supplied with the appliance. If this dry cleaning is still insufficient, then rinse
the filter in clear cold water.

5. If the filter is damaged or deformed, replace it (ordering information

6. Put the clean and dry exhaust filter back into its holder.
7. First fit the exhaust filter cover at the bottom side and then fold it into place while pressing the release catches.
8. Check the cover for correct fit.
