12. ACCESSORIES

Gloves: The wire rope degradetes
with the use and wires threads can
poke out. It's important to use gloves
to avoid injuries.
Rigging strap: The Rigging strap is
made of non-elastic nylon webbing,
and is designed to use as anchor point
for your winch line. You can wrap it to
a tree, trunk or a solid object. You can
use a D-Shacke to attach your winch
hook to it.

D-Shackles: This accesory is useful to
safely engage the hook with pulleys
and Rigging Straps.
Wire Rope Dampener: The purpose
of this accesory is to reduce the risk
of injury due to recoil in the in event
of a winch line or recovery strap failu-
re (The whip effect). It has the shape
of a blanket with pockets to be filled
with weights like sand or stones. Once loaded should be folded around the
wire rope before pulling.
Pulley: The pulley alows you to increa-
se the pulling force of your winch
Tow Strap or Tow Sling: Is a polyester
strap with a hoop on each end to be
used to tow vehicles.
Tow Hook: This hook is to be installed
on the vehicles chasis, providing an
anchor point to tow a vheicle.
