No. 5 (location of sensors)
- Observe the layout of the sensors (G) according to their colour: outside ones - blue;
inside ones - black. Caution: They must not be interchanged.
No. 7 (fastening of wires of parking sensors)
- Fasten the wires to the beam (or to the beam of the towing coupling) with faste-
GB
ning tapes (H) in such a way that the end with the connector was loose in a length
of about 20 cm.
Nos. 9, 10, 11 (fastening of the loudspeaker)
- Remove the blind flange on the ceiling panel. Install the loudspeaker in the roof
in such a way that the LED diode may be directed towards the interior of the ve-
hicle. With a suitable tool, punch a hole for the installation of the wire of the loud-
speaker.
- Pull the wire of the loudspeaker through the prepared hole, and fasten the
loudspeaker. Run the loudspeaker wire under the trunk lid sealing towards
the D-pillar on the side of the front passenger. Further downwards alongside the
pillar to the existing electric installation of the vehicle on the rear wheel housing.
Fasten the wire on the bodywork with protective tapes (K) 15 x 50 mm.
- Connect the loudspeaker wire to the control unit terminal board.
No. 13, 14 (location of control unit, signal of rear lights)
- Snap the terminal board in the control unit and glue it under the acoustic protection
on the rear wheel housing.
- As shown on the scheme (Fig. 14) connect the wires to the 6-pole terminal board
of the rear combined lamp. Insert the connected terminal boards wires under the
acoustic protection of the existing electric installation of the car. Then secure the
entire set with a fastening tape (J).
In suitable places, fasten all wires to the existing electric installation of the ve-
hicle with fastening tapes (J) in such a way that they might not be damaged and
no noises may be heard during the drive. If it is not possible to fasten the wires
to the existing electric installation of the vehicle, glue it to the bodywork with
convenient foam adhesive tapes (eg. the loudspeaker wire).
After finishing the fitting, re-fit all removed parts to their places according to the
Workshop Manual. Connect the car battery and perform all operations related
with the disconnection and re-connection of the car battery. Test the function
of the sensors.
