WARNING: Do not exceed maximum working pressure of 5000
p.s.i. (345 bar).
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Aro model is a single shot hand gun capable of producing 5,000
p.s.i. (345 bar).
Each shot of grease requires a separate trigger action.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MANUAL: Remove barrel assembly from main body casting by un
screwing to the left. Submerge open end of barrel into lubricant supply
and draw back on follower rod until barrel is full. Lock follower rod in
locking slot in barrel cap. Replace barrel assembly on main body cast
ing and release follower rod. If desired, fill by means of a paddle, mak
ing certain no air pockets are created by this operation. (Air pockets can
be relieved by loosening the barrel assembly from the main body cast
ing.)
WITH FILLER: Place gun on filler valve. Using filler pump, force lubri
cant into barrel until pressure resistance assures lubricant chamber is
full.
NOTE: The above methods may be used on model 610183-B. A
grease cartridge may be used. The following procedure should be
used.
1. Remove barrel assembly from main body casting.
2. Draw follower rod back and lock in position.
3. Remove slip over cap from grease cartridge and insert open end
into barrel assembly, seating flanged end in barrel.
4. Replace barrel assembly on main body casting, tightening secure
ly. Now disengage plunger rod and push it forward.
Connect air hose with 210 speed coupler to connector at base of handle
casting. Pressing on throttle valve button will cause unit to operate.

MAINTENANCE
To prevent undue wear on moving parts, lubricate air motor daily by
squirting several shots of light oil into air connector.
If grease should leak from nozzle when unit is not in operation, or gun
should fail to develop adequate pressure, it may be that Y16-9 ball is
not seating correctly due to dirt in the lubricant. To remedy, remove
F123-6 tube, unscrew 126 check valve retainer and remove with
F51-13 spring and Y16-9 ball. Clean carefully and reassemble. If lubri
cant leaks around follower rod handle, empty barrel, unscrew barrel cap
and remove grease follower assembly along with the grease follower
spring. Clean all parts and replace, taking care not to damage edges of
follower cup.
