Blade holder
Replace the blade holder at the first sign of wearing
out.
The distance between the blade (A) and the blade
(B) holder must be approximately 1.5 mm as shown
in figure 14.
The periodical retightening of the machine is highly
advisable.
In order to replace the counter cutting
blade, proceed as follows (Figure 15):
1. Remove the tension springs (1).
2. With the green hopper removed, lift the drive box
lid (2).
3. Remove the lower feed roller (3). For that purpose,
it is necessary to remove the bearing by loosening
the Allen screws (5) which attach the bearing to
the machine.
4. Remove the fasteners and the blade holder (4).
5. Attach the new blade holder with the screws
observing the distance between the blade and the
blade holder (approximately 1.5 mm) and mount
the items dismounted in the sequence.

Retightening
Because this equipment experiences constant
vibration, the screws need to be checked
periodically and loose screws re-tightened if
necessary. However, be very careful not to over-
tighten the screws.
Warning!
Switch off shredder and remove electrical plug
from outlet before cleaning or servicing. In case
of a combustion engine, the engine's park plug
cable must be removed.
