Electric
All single-phase or three-phase TRAPP shredders
are equipped with dual voltage motors. They are
shipped without electrical connection to allow
users to choose the type of connection based on the
voltage supply available in their facilities. To
provide the correct connection, proceed as follows:
Check the power grid voltage in the place where the

machine will be used.
Check in the engine identification plate the required

connecting scheme for the desired voltage.
Open the wire compartment cover in the engine and

according to the indicated number, connect the
engine wires to the on/off switch wires.
After connecting the wires, make sure they are all

insulated before testing the connection and the
direction of the engine rotation.

If the rotation is reversed, follow the engine

identification plate recommendation by reversing
the wires.
When completing the connection with the engine

rotation in the correct direction, turn the engine off,
place the wires in the engine wire compartment and
close the cover, making sure that the wires are
properly insulated.
It is recommended that a professional electrician

performs the engine connection and checks the
electric power following the equipment operation.
Warning!
Before connecting the equipment, make sure
power supply is dienergized.
