If the pressure of the infeed roller is not enough,
the material will not be drawn evenly, to correct,
proceed as follows, as per figure 8:
1. Remove the spring (1).
2. Remove the spring positioner shaft (2) and
replace it into the upper holes in bracket 3.
Note:
If the springs no longer have sufficient
tension, they should be replaced.
If the materials is of a greater thickness, such as
sugar cane, for example, it is recommended to use
the positioning rod in the lower hole in order to
decrease the spring tension and the material must
be placed in the infeed rollers little by little.
The ES-450 is provided with the green hopper
disassembled; to mount it, proceed as follows:
Mount the green hopper (1) by tilting it at 90° and fit

it in the holder (2) located in the infeed rollers' cap
(3) (fig. 9).
After attaching the green hopper to the holder, move

the hopper downwards to fully close the infeed
rollers' inlet (fig. 10).
