The material cutting size of approximately 5 or
10 mm is determined by the position of the gearbox
pulley belt and by the disk shaft pulley. In order to
change the belt position and change the cutting size,
proceed as follows:
1. Remove the screws and washers (1) and the belt
cover (2), as per Figure 5.
2. Loosen the nuts (1) which secure the gearbox in
the machine until they are loose, but do not totally
remove them, subsequently, loosen the screw (2)
which tensions the belt (fig. 6).
3. Change the belt from pulley groove (3) according
to the size of material intended to be cut (fig. 5).
4. Check the desired size and position the belt (fig. 7).
5. After mounting the belt in the pulley groove
according to the desired cutting size, retighten the
screw (2) so as to tension the belt (fig. 6).
6. With the belt currently tensioned, retighten the nuts
(1) which secure the gearbox (fig. 6).
7. Replace the belt cover, the screws and washers, as
per Figure 5.
