Gasoline
Certify that there'-s oil in the crankcase and if the
level is correct. The factory engines use 20W50 oil.
Check for the presence of gasoline in the fuel tank.
Check the gasoline tank capacity and the amount of
crankcase oil on page 42.

After refueling with gasoline and adding oil to the
crankcase, turn the power cut-off switch (1) on, open
the fuel valve (3), place the choke lever (4) and the
throttle lever (5) towards the rabbit direction.
Checklist:
Before operating the shredder check that:
If there are no tools or objects on the engine or on
the machine, particularly inside the green hopper; if
yes, remove them all before starting.
If there's nothing blocking the engine, if yes, release
the engine before starting.
If the rotation direction is correct (as indicated
by the direction of rotation arrow), adjust if
necessary as indicated on the engine plate.
If the voltage from the electrical grid matches
that of the silage machine; if not, adjust as
indicated on the engine plate.
If there are no people or objects close to the
pulleys and belts, keep people and animals in a
radius of 30 m far from the equipment during the
work.

Operation Instructions
Carefully pull the retractable (2) start rope until you
find some resistance, then pull it all the way through.
Repeat this procedure until the engine runs.
Release the rewind starter rope gently to avoid
damaging the engine's covers.
Allow the motor to heat up for some minutes.
Return the choke lever (4), when returning the choke
lever to the original position, if the engine does not
turn off, this indicates the engine is warmed up.
Activate the throttle lever and start working with the
maximum rotation.
In an emergency situation, in order to turn the engine
off turn the power cut-off switch (1) off. Under
normal conditions, to turn the engine off, close the
fuel valve (3) and let the engine turns off due to lack
of fuel in the carburetor, then, turn the power cut-off
switch (1) off.
Note: for further information on the operation, refer to
the motor manual.
If the silage machine cover is correctly closed; if
necessary, close it by closing the handle.
If the counter-blade screw is properly adjusted; if
necessary, adjust as indicated on page 52.
If the blade screw is fixed and tightened correctly; if
necessary, tighten it before starting the machine.
If all the screws are tightened and if the machine has
all its feet on the floor, if necessary, make adjustments
to the position and retighten the loose screws.
Start the machine and wait until the engine reaches
full rotation before placing the material in the feed
funnel. In the gasoline-engine equipment, after
starting the engine and it reaches maximum
acceleration, tension the belts by moving the lever in
universal mounting base as indicated on page 46.
If, when starting the equipment, an abnormal noise
