All lubricants must be compliant with API SG-SL
Service Class.
1. The shredder must be located on a flush, flat
surface. Remove the oil drainage plug (1) using an
appropriate wrench, as per Figure 4, protection
glasses and appropriate gloves.
2. The oil will be more easily drained if it is already
warmed up and with the oil dipstick (2) removed,
as per Figure 4.
3. Keep used oil in a suitable container.
Warning!
When changing the oil with the motor
hot, be careful when removing the oil
plug. Oil may be squish out hot and cause
injury and burns. Do not discard the dirty
oil and the oil package as a common
waste or in the environment, check the oil
manufacturer's recommendation for the
correct disposal.
4. When the oil is fully drained, re-tighten the oil
drain plug (1) as shown in Figure 4.
5. Pour the new oil in the cap opening (2) and after it
reaches the appropriate level, close the cap, as per
Figure 4.
Warning!
Repairs or cleaning must be always done
with the shredder off and the spark plug
wire disconnected.
The air filter must be clean for the correct
functioning of the motor.

Clogged or soiled filters may affect motor operation,
including power loss and cylinder, piston and
piston rings damage.
Air filter - paper
Blow off filter towards the outer part of the filter, or
by lightly tapping the base or against a flat surface,
if necessary, replace by a new filter.
according to the motor model used.

Note:
Check motor oil level frequently to

avoid possible damage due to low oil
level.
This engine is provided with an oil level

sensor and does not work if the level is
below the recommended position.
