2 Possibilities for energy saving

Limiting the room temperature
Set the room temperature at a level that is just
enough for you to feel comfortable. Every degree
above this level means an additional fuel
consumption of around 6%.
Lowering the room temperature
Lower the room temperature during the night or
periods of absence.
Extending the lower temperature times
Extend the temperature-drop periods as far as possible.
The inertia of your building allows the room
temperature to fall only gradually.

Ventilate briefly but thoroughly
During the heating period open windows only for airing
and not for reguiating the room temperature. A brief but
vigorous airing is more effective and more economical than
keeping windows slightly ajar for longer periods. When
airing, set the operating mode switch (2) to
prevent your heating system from switching on unnecessarily.
Keep the room thermostat clear
Do not obstruct your room thermostat with furniture,
curtains or other objects so that its sensor is fully
exposed to the circulating room air.
Fully open the radiator valves
Always keep fully open all radiator valves in
the room in which your room thermostat is
situated.
