11 Electrical connection

11.1 Possible connections
Before connecting the room thermostat, disconnect the
electrical supply to the boiler, and set the main switch on
the COMBIcompact/THERMOcompact to "0".
The room thermostat VRT-QZA must only be connected
to the low-voltage terminals 7, 8, 9 of a Vaillant
THERMOcompact/COMBIcompact.
11.2 Wiring
Pass the connection cable through the cable entry
fig. 3 (11).

Connection to the terminals 7, 3, 9 of a Vaillant
THERMOcompact/COMBIcompact VC... or
VCW... as shown in fig. 4.
11.3 Make the room thermostat ready
for operation
After connecting the room thermostat to the terminal
strip fig. 3, 4 (12,13), place it on the mounting
plate so that the blades fig. 5 (12b) are plugged
into the contacts fig. 3 (12a). Place the room ther-
mostat on the mounting plate and engage it.
Re-establish the electricity supply and set the main
switch of the THERMOcompact/COMBIcompact to "I".
