Solution
1. Adjust the water level in the brush tank. See page
11.
Solution
1. Make sure that the tape channel is not blocked, and
clear it if necessary. Examine the leading edge of the
tape. If it is worn or wrinkled make a new leading
edge by cutting the tape. Examine the cutting
blades. If the blades are dirty, remove, clean and
lubricate them as outlined on page 25. If the blades
are dull, the cutter may need to be replaced. See
page 45.
2. If the moveable blade is not dropping to clear the
tape path, remove any interference between the
blade and the tape channel. Make sure the cutter
operating link is properly adjusted. See page 47.
3. Adjust the spacer plates in the tape channel.
4. Adjust the pressure pad weight. See page 13.
5. Install the brush correctly. See page 7.
6. Clean the pressure pad with warm water to remove
any build up of glue.
7. Remove any tape from the machine. Brush the feed
wheel from side to side with a stiff brush until the
feed wheel is clean.
