To lower the water level in the brush tank:
1. Loosen the screw and slide the regulator down.
2. Tighten the screw when you have repositioned the regulator in the correct spot.
The further toward the front of the machine the pressure pad weight is moved, the
greater the pressure on the tape. When using a heavier tape, such as reinforced or 90 lb
tape, move the pressure pad weight forward to hold the tape in place after the cutting
lever is released. For normal operation with 60 lb tape, leave the pressure pad weight set
in the center. When using 35 lb tape, the weight should be set back. To change the
position of the pressure weight:
1 Loosen the setscrew on the right side of the weight (see Figure D).
2. Slide the pad weight forward or backward to the correct position for your operating
procedure.
3. Tighten the setscrew to secure the pressure pad weight.
