WARNING: The muffler and other
parts of the engine (e.g. fins of
the cylinder, spark plug) become
hot during operation and remain
hot for a while after stopping the
engine. To reduce risk of burns do
not touch the muffler and other
parts while they are hot.
FITTING THE HANDLE (Figs. 3)
Fit the handle onto the shaft arm and secure
it using screws (A). The handle position is
calculated depending on the requirements of
the operator.

ATTACHMENTS (FIG.4)
Mounting:
- Loosen coupling (E) by turning knob (C)
counter-clockwise;
- Align attachment tab (B) with channel (A) in
coupling (E);
- Fit attachment tube (D) into coupling (E) as
far as broken line (F);
NOTE To facilitate the procedure rotate the
attachment cutting tool to engage the drive
shaft with the fitting. Check to ensure there
is no dirt or debris in the coupling;
- Tighten knob (C) fully by turning it clockwise.
Demounting:
Release the coupling by turning knob (C)
counter-clockwise and remove the attachment.

The following Emak attachments may be
mounted to the basic power tool:
Brush cutter attachment: D-BC
Pruner attachment: D-PP
Hedge trimmer attachment: D-HC
Blower attachment: D-BV
Extension attachment
