Setting Freewheeling
If the freewheeling interferes with learning to
ride the tricycle, you can lock the freewheeling,
thus establishing rigid forward and reverse
drive where the pedals always rotate.
z Press the freewheeling lock ring against the
wheel hub and turn the front wheel until the
ring engages in the wheel hub.
z Press the freewheeling lock ring as far as it
will go into the wheel hub (Fig. 39, A).
z To reset the freewheeling, pull out the free-
wheeling lock ring towards the fork.
Steering Lock Limiter
The PUKY Ceety tricycle features a steering
lock limiter that prevents your child turning the
handlebars too far, thus providing a safeguard
against injury or accident. Your child still has
sufficient freedom of steering while playing.
Storage Tray
Danger of tipping over!
Do not stand on the storage tray. It must not
be used to carry another child. Risk of tipping
over.

9. Care and Maintenance
Before Using
Caution!
Regularly check (more frequently when used
more often) that all screw connections and
protective caps are firmly fitted and check the
tricycle for visible damage.
The correct tightening torque for the screw
connections at the handlebar, under the seat
and at the two connections between rear axle
and frame is 5 to 8 Nm (see General Assem-
bly Requirements, page 17). If in doubt
consult your specialist dealer.
Immediately replace damaged or defective
parts by genuine PUKY spare parts to main-
tain the high safety level.
We advise that you obtain genuine spare parts
from your PUKY specialist dealer.
Wearing parts: tyres, brakes/brake caps, seat
cover and padding.
