Preparing the measurement bay

If necessary, correct the height difference by fitting
turntables.

Checking the lifting platform
When using a lifting platform, make sure the measu-
ring and working height is identical.
The turntables must be pinned to the lifting plat-
form.
Fit the brake clamp to stop the vehicle rolling during
measurement.

Level the lifting platform as specified by the
manufacturer.

Check the vehicle and make any necessary corrections.

The locking pins must be inserted at the turntable
when the vehicle is driven onto the measurement bay.
Do not pull out the pins and fit the brake clamp until
the vehicle is in position.

rod joints
Distribution of test loads in vehicle
Wheel run-out check
Turntables
Fitting the brake clamp
Ensure proper attachment to prevent damage to the
seat and steering wheel. Place a cloth underneath if
necessary.
