Start charging process
Please note cover page – image 2 and 5.
The charging process can be started as soon as the charging
cable is connected to the infrastructure. Please also note the
documentation for your electric vehicle.
The self-test function of the device when switching on
checks all important parameters and only enables the
charge, if all test criteria are fulfilled.
In the case of temporary power failure, the charging pro-
cess will be automatically continued after the voltage is
restored.
Terminate charging process

Note for plug / coupling type GB and type 1:
Press the release button of the charging
connector for unplugging.

Do not remove the plug, while the charging process is still
active.
f Terminate the charging process at your vehicle first.
Please note the documentation for your electric vehicle.
After use, re-attach the factory-mounted protective cap.
Wind the charging cable without kinks and store it properly
in your vehicle.

Reset fault massages:
f Disconnect the charging cable from the power supply by
removing the plug from the wall socket.
f Reinsert the device after 10 seconds.
Errors due to temperature excess:

f Before the charging process, store the device at a place
with suited ambient temperature.
Please note the data plate on the housing.
Faults which show a damage to the charging cable

are not reset.
These include:
„ Critical fault
„ Internal fault – temperature sensor defective
„ Internal fault – FI test negative
If the device shows damages, it must be checked by an
expert and be replaced, if necessary. In the case of repair,
please contact the specialist dealer / manufacturer.
