6 MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the dust collector from the power supply prior to any checks or ac-
tivities performed on the machine!
Check the filter and dust collector bag regularly for being tightened properly to the frame and for
any holes or other damages.
Check regularly for damage of any part.
Check regularly every (screw) joint.
Clean the dust collector regularly with a wet cloth. Do not use any solvents.
6.1 Cleaning of the filter bag
Clean regularly the filter bag to ensure it`s filter capacity.

6.2 Cleaning of dust collector hood from deposits

You should check the dust collector hood regularly for deposits that cumulate especially on
the protective fence and clean if necessary. Failure to do so will result in lower suction capac-
ity and motor overload.
Do not dismount the protective fence, it is a security component.

6.3 Disposal

Do not dispose your ABS 3000/5000 with domestic waste. Inform yourself at your local au-
thorities about the available possibilities of proper disposal of the respective machinery parts.
In many countries your reseller is obliged to take back your old machine for disposal if you
buy a new machine with similar function at his shop.
