4.3 Connection of dust collector to machine

Connect a suitable reduction (operation with one machine) and/or distributor with adapters
with slides (2-3 machines – only one in operation at a time) for the connection to the dust col-
lector hood.
Ensure dust collector tubes to be composed of hardly inflammable material and antistatic.
The total distance between dust collector hood of the ABS 3000/5000 and machine dust col-
lector hood shall not exceed 10 meters.
5 OPERATION
5.1 Turn on / Turn off
The ABS 3000/5000 dust collector shall be turned on together with the wood processing ma-
chine.
Turn on: Press the green button on the switch (23).
Turn off: Press the red button on the switch (23)

5.2 Change of dust collector bag

Empty dust collector bags when they are 60-70% full.
Switch the dust collector off and let the dust settle at least for 10 minutes.
Disconnect the dust collector from the power supply.
Do not use a dust collector bag twice.
Use solely certified dust collector bags, which match with the technical specifications, espe-
cially Ø and height, of the dust collector.
