4 SETUP
4.1 Assembly
Number references () are related to the part numbers in the spare part drawing, which
you can find in the back section of this manual.
Check the machine for hidden transport damages when unpacking. If you notice any part
being damaged, inform your reseller immediately but latest 7 days after date of purchase.
Later claims based on transport damage cannot be accepted anymore by HOLZMANN
MASCHINEN GmbH.
The machine is being delivered pre-assembled.
Install the supports (1/3) of the filter bag to the frame (14), mount the 4 columns to the
frame (14) and to the base assembly (12).
Pull the dust collector bag onto the frame (14) and tighten it with the clamping assembly
(4).
Finally mount the filter bag by putting it over the upper support (1) and attaching it to the
frame (14), tightening it properly with the clamping assembly (4).
The degree of pre-assembly might vary due to continuous product development. Check the
spare part drawing for reference if necessary.

4.2 Electric connection

Connect only to power supply with short-circuit protection!
The connection of the machine to the electric power supply and the following checks have to
be carried out by a respectively trained electrician only.
The electronic connection of the machine is designated for operation with a grounded power
socket!
The connector plug may not be manipulated.
If the connector plug doesn't fit or if it is defect, only qualified electricians may modify or re-
new it!
The grounding wire should be held in green-yellow.
A damaged cable has to be exchanged immediately!
Check, whether the feeding voltage and the Hz comply to the required values of the ma-
chine. A deviation of feeding voltage of ±5% is allowed (e.g.: a machine with working voltage
of 380V can work within a voltage bandwidth of 370 till 400V.
380-400V 3 Phase Version:
Check the correct running direction of the motor! Switch the machine on and check
by observing the running direction of the impeller if it agrees with the indication
arrow on the motor housing. If it does not, switch the machine off immediately. In
this case two power phases need to be switched.
If an extension cord is required, it has to have a sufficient cross-section, but at least
1,5mm².
