Description
Power LED
Indicates the operating status of the power supply module.
A
P On: Normal operation
P Off: Power-off, power failure, or hardware failure
Error signal output
Turns on when the entire system operates normally. (M4 screw)
This contact turns off (opens) when the power is not supplied, a stop
error (including reset) occurs in the CPU module, or the fuse is
blown.
B
In a multiple CPU system, the contact turns off when a stop error
occurs in any of the CPU modules.
The contact is off at all times when the module is mounted on an
extension base unit.
FG frame ground terminal
a
A functional ground terminal connected to the shield pattern of the
C
printed circuit board. (M4 screw)
LG line ground terminal
a
A functional ground terminal for the power supply input filter. For
D
AC input, the terminal has one-half the potential of the input volt-
age. (M4 screw)
Power input terminal
A power input terminal for the power supply module. The input power
E
supply differs depending on a power supply module. (M4 screw)
Terminal cover
F
A protective cover for the terminal block.
Production information marking
G
Shows the production information (16 digits) of the module.
+24 V and 24 G terminals
b
H
Used for a device that requires a supply of 24 V DC (M3.5 screw).
The power is supplied to a device through the external wiring.
a
Individually ground the FG and LG terminals with a ground resistance of 100 or less.
b
The R62P only provides these terminals.

In addition to the 5 V DC output the R62P power supply also has an additional
output with 24 V DC/0.6 A.
The 5 V DC output from the power supply units is fed directly into the base
unit. It cannot be tapped from any of the terminals.
