Chin curtain
The chin curtain reduces the entry of wind into the area around the chin
of the helmet as well as the wind noise. The chin curtain is detachable.
Follow the procedure below to attach and detach the chin curtain.
Installing the chin curtain

Attach the chin curtain after fitting the cheek pads. First, align the
triangle mark on the center plate of the chin curtain with the center of
the chin part of the shell (Drawing 1). Next, insert the plate into the
gap between the shell and the impact absorbing liner. After this, also
insert the plates on both right and left ends (Drawing 2). Insert the
plates securely as far as their base and check that the chin curtain is
as shown in Drawing 3.

Removing the chin curtain
First, pull the center plate of the chin curtain out of the gap between
the shell and the impact absorbing liner. At this point, raise the chin
curtain until it is about perpendicular to the helmet, as shown in
Drawing 4. After this, pull out the plates on both right and left ends in
the direction of the arrows (Drawing 5). Do not pull or twist the chin
curtain with excessive force. Doing so may damage the plates.
WARNING
1. With the chin curtain is installed, the sound from nearby vehicles
will be reduced. Please be aware of this while riding.
2. Do not carry or hold the helmet by the chin curtain. The chin
curtain may come off, and the helmet may drop.

Mentonnière
La mentonnière réduit l'entrée du vent dans la zone située autour du
menton du casque ainsi que le bruit du vent. La mentonnière est
détachable. Suivez la procédure ci-dessous pour attacher et détacher
la mentonnière.
Installation de la mentonnière

Fixez la mentonnière après avoir réglé les coussinets maxillaires. Tout
d'abord, alignez la marque triangulaire sur la plaque centrale de la
mentonnière avec le centre de la partie du menton de la coque
(Schéma 1). Insérez ensuite la plaque dans l'espace entre la coque et
le calotin d'absorption. Après cela, insérez également les plaques sur
les deux extrémités droite et gauche (Schéma 2). Insérez fermement
les plaques jusqu'à leur base et vérifiez que la mentonnière est
conforme au Schéma 3.
Retrait de la mentonnière

Tout d'abord, retirez la plaque centrale de la mentonnière hors de
l'espace entre la coque et le calotin d'absorption. À ce stade, levez la
mentonnière jusqu'à ce qu'elle soit à peu près perpendiculaire au
casque, comme indiqué dans le schéma 4. Après cela, retirez les
plaques sur les extrémités droite et gauche dans le sens des flèches
(Schéma 5). Ne tirez pas et ne tordez pas la mentonnière avec une
force excessive. Cela pourrait endommager les plaques.
AVERTISSEMENT
1. Lorsque la mentonnière est installée, le bruit des véhicules
environnants sera réduit. Veuillez prendre ce facteur en
considération lors de la conduite.
2. Ne transportez pas ou ne tenez pas le casque par la mentonnière.
La mentonnière peut se détacher et le casque peut tomber.
