6.7 Connection for dust extractor
A connection for a dust extractor is provided on
the extractor adapter (16) on the housing and on
the saw blade guard (2).
6.7.1 Dust extraction using a vacuum extrac-
tion system
•
The product is not supplied with a vacuum
extraction system, which is available as ac-
cessory.
•
Connect the suction hose of the vacuum ext-
raction system to the 100 mm diameter of the
extractor adapter (16).
6.7.2 Dust extraction using a vacuum ext-
raction system and extractor adapter set
(Fig. 22)
•
The product is not supplied with an extractor
adapter set with a suction hose and a vacuum
extraction system, which are available as ac-
cessories.
•
Connect the suction hose of the vacuum ext-
raction system to the 100 mm diameter of the
extractor adapter (16).
•
Using a crosstip screwdriver, undo the screw
on the cap (51) on the saw blade guard (2).
•
Remove the cap (51) from the saw blade gu-
ard (2).
•
Remove the cap for the extractor adapter(50).
•
Then connect the saw blade guard (2) and
the side connection of the extractor adapter
(16) to the suction hose.
6.7.3 Recommended requirements to be met
by the vacuum extraction system
To ensure that dust and chips are satisfactorily
carried away from the point at which they are
generated to the vacuum extraction system, the
vacuum extraction system which is used needs to
meet the following requirements:
•
Connection facility as described in 6.7.1 or
6.7.2
•
Required air flow: 850 m3/h
•
Underpressure at the extractor adapter: maxi-
mum 1500 Pa
•
Recommended air speed in the hose: 20 m/s
6.8 Fitting the accessory slide (Figs. 24, 26)
•
The slide is available from retail stores
as a special accessory for the TC-TS 315
model – it is not included in the scope of
this delivery.
•
Remove the guide rail (41) for the cross stop
and remove the screws (32), washers (35),
spring washers (36) and nuts (38).

•
Fit the slide plate (100) and stop rail (101) to-
gether. To do so, use the large hexagon screw
(107) and medium washer (116) at the pivot
point. In addition, fasten the clamping lever
(106) using two large washers (108) and the
self-locking nut (109). Important! The clam-
ping lever (106) must be mounted in such
a way that the stop can be moved when the
clamping lever is released and is locked when
the clamping lever is secured. Adjust the
clamping force with the self-locking nut (109).
•
Fit the two angles (103, 104) to the guide
rail (102) using the washers (113), spring
washers (114) and hexagon screws (112).
•
Then fasten the angles (103, 104) together
with the guide rail (102) to the left legs (29) on
the bench-type circular saw. To do this, use
one hexagon screw (112), two washers (113),
one spring washer (114) and one nut (115) at
each point.
•
Place the slide plate (100) together with the
stop rail (101) onto the guide rail (102) from
the front.
•
If there is any slackness between the guide
rail and the running bearings of the slide pla-
te, then the two lower bearings must be ad-
justed using the screw (A) and the eccentric
screw (B), so that the slide can glide freely.
•
Fit the socket head screws (110) to the front
and rear of the guide rail (102) together with
the locking grip (111); they serve as a limit
stop.
•
The stop rail (101) must move parallel to the
saw table at a distance of approx. 1 mm. Sla-
cken the screws for the angles (103, 104) to
do this. Then adjust adjust the rail in such a
way that there is a 1 mm gap between the rail
and the saw table in every position.
•
Please note that for technical reasons relating
to delivery, some loose screws/washers may
be left over even if the slide is assembled and
fitted correctly (special accessory), because,
e.g. they may already be provided on the
bench-type circular saw.
7. Operation
Switch on an extraction system prior to star-
ting with the work.
7.1 On/Off switch (Fig. 1/Item 11)
•
To turn the saw on, press the green button
„I". Wait for the blade to reach its maximum
