The Camcorder : Playback
Tape Playback
✤ The Playback function works only in PLAY mode.
Playback on the LCD Screen
✤ It is practical to view a tape using the LCD screen when in a car or
outdoors.
Playback on a TV Monitor
✤ To play back a tape, the television must be PAL compatible.
(see page 147)
✤ We recommend that you use the AC Power adapter as the power
source for the Camcorder.
Connecting to a TV which has Audio/Video Input Jacks
1. Connect the Camcorder to your TV with the
Multi-AV cable.

The yellow jack: Video
I
The white jack: Audio(L)-mono
I
The red jack: Audio(R)
If you connect to a monaural TV, connect
the yellow jack (Video) to the video input of
the TV and the white jack (Audio L) to the
audio input of the TV.

You may use the Scart Adapter. (optional)
2. Set the Power switch to PLAY.
3. Turn on the TV and set the TV/VIDEO selector
on the TV to Video.

4. Play the tape.

You may use an S-Video cable to obtain better quality pictures if you
have a S-Video jack on your TV.
I
Even if you use an S-Video cable, you need to connect an audio cable.
I
If you connect the cable to the AV/S-Video jack, you will not hear sound
from the Camcorder's speakers.
I
If only a mono audio input is available on the TV set, use the audio
cable with the white jack (Audio L).

Reproducción de una cinta
✤ La función de reproducción sólo está operativa en la modalidad PLAY.
Reproducción en la pantalla LCD
✤ Cuando se va en coche o se está en el exterior, resulta muy práctico
ver una cinta con la pantalla LCD.
Reproducción en un monitor de televisión
✤ Para reproducir una cinta, el televisor debe ser compatible con PAL.

✤ Recomendamos usar el adaptador de CA como fuente de alimentación
para la videocámara.

4. Reproduzca la cinta.

Para obtener una mejor calidad de las imágenes, y si dispone de un
terminal S-Vídeo, puede usar el cable S-Video en el televisor.
I
Aunque utilice el cable S-Video, necesitará conectar un cable de audio.
I
Si conecta el cable al terminal de AV/S-Video, no oirá el sonido por los
altavoces de la videocámara.
I
Si sólo está disponible una entrada de audio monoaural en el equipo
de TV, utilice el cable de audio con la clavija blanca (Audio L).
1. Conecte la videocámara al TV mediante el
cable Multi-AV.

La clavija amarilla: Video

La clavija blanca: Audio(L)-mono

La clavija roja: Audio(R)
Si se trata de un televisor monoaural,
conecte la clavija amarilla (vídeo) a la
entrada de vídeo del televisor y la clavija
blanca (Audio L) a la entrada de audio del
televisor.

Puede utilizar el adaptador de Scart.

2. Coloque el interruptor Power en PLAY.
3. Encienda el televisor y coloque el selector
TV/VIDEO del mismo en Video.
