9) Adjust the definite volume of the master sig-
nal with the control MAIN MIX (25) by means
of the LED level indication (24).
In general, an optimum level control is
reached at 0 dB. However, if the output level
of the mixer is too high or too low for the fol-
lowing unit, the master signal must be
adjusted to a correspondingly higher or lower
level. In case of overload the red LEDs CLIP
light up.
5.2.1 Adjusting the effect send way
The effect unit must be connected as described
in chapter 4.3.2.
1) First turn the level control AUX RETURN (15)
approx. to mid-position so that the following
effect adjustments can be heard.
2) Mix the signals of the channels 1 to 7/ 8 to the
effect way with the controls FX (6). With
these controls it is possible to adjust the
desired effect intensity separately for each
channel.
3) Mix the signal processed by the effect unit to
the master signal with the control AUX
RETURN. With this control the effect intensity
for all channels can be increased or reduced
together.
5.3 Monitoring via headphones
and monitor system
The button TAPE TO CTRL ROOM (16) deter-
mines the signal to be monitored via the outputs
PHONES (12) and CTRL ROOM OUT (13) and
indicated via the LED level indication (24):
– If the button is not pressed , the master signal
adjusted with the control MAIN MX (25) is
monitored and indicated
– If the button is pressed , the input signal at the
jacks TAPE IN (14) is monitored and indicated
(e. g. backtrack recording).
Adjust the monitoring volume with the control
PHONES / CONTROL ROOM (18).
