Remote control
Problem
The remote control
does not work and/or
function properly.
You cannot operate
external components
with this unit's remote
control.
The cursor buttons do
not work during SET
MENU operation.

Cause
Wrong distance or angle.
Direct sunlight or lighting (from an
inverter type of fluorescent lamp, etc.) is
striking the remote control sensor of this
unit.
The batteries are weak.
The external component you want to
operate is not selected as the input source.
The remote control code was not correctly
set.
Even if the remote control code is
correctly set, there are some models that
do not respond to the remote control.
You pressed an input selector button.
Remedy
The remote control will function within a maximum
range of 6 m and no more than 30 degrees off-axis
from the front panel.
Reposition this unit.
Replace all batteries.
Press INPUT or the input selector buttons to select
the external component you want to operate.
Set the remote control code correctly or try another
code for the same manufacturer using the "LIST OF
REMOTE CONTROL CODES" at the end of this
manual.
Use the remote control supplied with the external
component.
Press TEST once.
