MG – Display of the measured gas
This function can be used to display the measured
gas configured on the gas transmitter.
 Navigate using the ▲ or ▼ keys until the
display shows "MG" (Measured Gas) and enter
the menu by pressing the keys (▲+▼).
– The measured gas configured on the gas transmitter will be
shown on the display.
 Press keys (▲+▼) to terminate this function.
– The display shows "MG" again.
 Either press the ▼ key to call up additional menu functions,
or press the ▲ key to switch back to operation for maintenance.
CG – Configuration of the calibration gas
This function can be used to display the calibration
gas configured on the gas transmitter and change it
if necessary.
When entering this menu, the "initial display" is
always the calibration gas currently configured on
the gas transmitter.
The ▲ or ▼ keys can be used to change the calibration gas.
The following selection options are available for this purpose
(that are always displayed in the order given):

1 Measured gas configured on the gas transmitter
(e. g. n-Octane / "108")
2 "GasCodes" of the standard library substance(s), depending on
the type of instrument:
Dräger PIR 7000
Type 334 Type 340
"001" (methane) "002" (propane)
"002" (propane) "001" (methane)
"003" (ethylene)
3 Calibration gas configured on the gas transmitter, if different from
the substances given above (e. g. n-Butane / "104")
 Navigate using the ▲ or ▼ keys until the display shows "CG"
(Calibration Gas) and confirm by pressing the keys (▲+▼).
– The calibration gas configured on the gas transmitter will be
shown on the display.
 Select the calibration gas using the ▲ or ▼ keys.
 Press the keys (▲+▼) to save the selected calibration gas to the
gas transmitter and terminate this function.
– The display shows "CG" again.
 Select function again and check whether the modified parameter
has been correctly applied.
 Either press the ▼ key to call up additional menu functions,
or press the ▲ key twice to switch back to operation for
maintenance.
NOTICE
If the version of the library substance is not compatible with the
connected remote access box, "_ _ _" will be displayed as the
GasCode. Remedy: Contact Dräger Service.
