Ethylenoxid‑Sterilisation (EO)
Das Ethylenoxid-Verfahren ist mit 100 %
Ethylenoxid bei 55 °C mit einer Haltezeit von 30
bis 45 Minuten validiert.
1 HINWEIS: Den Kamerakopf in ein
Sterilisationssieb legen. Keine Instrumente
auf die Kamera legen.

VORSICHT: Bei der Gassterilisation
mit Ethylenoxid müssen wegen der
Gasaufnahme der Werkstoffe die vom
Gerätehersteller vorgeschriebenen
Auslüftzeiten befolgt werden. Die
Auslüftzeiten hängen von der
Verfahrenstechnik des EO-Sterilisators ab
(Konzentration, Prozess-Führung).

Reprocessing
The following STERIS AMSCO sterilization
® ®
methods have been validated and approved
by KARL STORZ for the IMAGE1 S™ H3‑Z FI
camera head:

Ethylene oxide sterilization (EO)
The ethylene oxide procedure is validated with
100% ethylene oxide at 55°C and a hold time of
30-45 minutes.
1 NOTE: Place the camera head in a
sterilization tray. Do not place any
instruments on top of the camera.

CAUTION: For gas sterilization
with ethylene oxide, the airing times
stipulated for the materials by the device
manufacturer must be observed due
to gas absorption by the materials.
The airing times depend on the
processing procedure of the EO sterilizer
(concentration, process control).

Esterilización con óxido de etileno (OE)
El procedimiento con óxido de etileno ha sido
validado con óxido de etileno al 100% a 55 °C
con un tiempo de aplicación de 30 a 45 minutos.
1 NOTA: Deposite el cabezal de la cámara
en una bandeja perforada de esterilización.
No deposite ningún instrumento sobre la
cámara.

ADVERTENCIA: Dado que los materiales
absorben gas, en la esterilización por gas
hay que respetar los periodos de aireación
de los instrumentos, prescritos por el
fabricante del aparato. Estos periodos
dependen en gran medida de la tecnología
del esterilizador de óxido de etileno
(concentración, realización del proceso).
