• for purchasing the new Hairspa Ion P71. Please read these operating instructions
carefully before you use the appliance. This will allow you to take advantage of all
the features of this new appliance and protect yourself and others from any possible
harm.
• Keep these operating instructions in a safe place near the appliance so that you can
look up information on its operation, safety instructions and other important infor-
mation in the future.
• These operating instructions are part of the appliance. Please do not give the appli-
ance to another user or location without the operating instructions. These operating
instructions must be easily accessible to all users of the appliance at all times.
• The appliance and these instructions are designed for use by qualified hairdressers
who are familiar with the purposes of hair treatment from their professional trai-
ning and who have a corresponding approval (in states in which statutory regulati-
ons make such an approval necessary).
• The appliance is designed and constructed in accordance with the state of the art
and is safe to operate provided that all the instructions and safety information con-
tained in these operating instructions are complied with.
Nevertheless, hazards may still occur with this appliance, in particular if it is used
by staff without sufficient training and experience, if it is not used properly or con-
trary to the safety information contained in these operating instructions, or not in
accordance with its intended purpose.
• Train staff in the operating, cleaning and care of the equipment, on the basis of
these operating instructions.
• Unauthorised changes or modifications to the appliance are not permitted for safety
reasons.
Unauthorised changes or modifications will void the manufacturer's guarantee for
this appliance. The manufacturer hereby rejects any liability whatsoever for
damage or injury resulting from unauthorised changes or modifications or from
using spare parts from other manufacturers.
The use of parts not supplied by the manufacturer or the manufacturer's agents
will void the manufacturer's warranty for this appliance.
