2. If you press and hold the "Touch" button for 3 seconds, "detecting ..." appears
in the display and the activity sensor starts to record the heart rate.
As soon as the activity sensor has recorded a heart rate, the meas-
ured value appears on the display. If the activity sensor does not
record a heart rate, "No Signal" appears in the display. In this case,
check whether the light sensor on the rear has sufficient contact
with the skin and is free of skin particles and dust. Then press the "Touch"
button again to activate the heart rate measurement.
3. To stop the heart rate measurement, press and hold the "Touch" but-
ton for 3 seconds.
Incident light and too much movement may distort the measurement. Therefore,
check that the device is fitted tightly enough but without cutting into your skin.
Heart rate training ranges
Whilst your current heart rate is shown in the display of the activity sensor, the
activity sensor also alternately shows your current training range. The maximum
heart rate is automatically derived from the following formula: 220 - age = maxi-
mum heart rate. The individual training ranges are calculated using the maximum
heart rate. The heart rate is preset into the following training ranges. However, this
can be changed in the app:
