□ Installation Location
Do not install this unit on the rear tray of a car where the internal temperature can rise to high levels. Failure to
comply with these instructions may cause problems. Also avoid installing the unit in the following locations.
• In areas hit by direct sunlight, hot air from the heater, or any other high-temperature location.
• In an area where you cannot firmly secure the unit, or in high-vibration areas.
® In areas with high humidity or high dirt and dust levels.
How to Install this unit
Use a screwdriver to set the angle-adjusting hole to the position V or "H," depending on the mounting angle
selected. (When shipped from the factory, the angle-adjusting hole is set to the "H" position as default.)
® When setting vertically: Set to the 'V" position,
o When setting horizontally: Set to the "H" position.
This unit can be set in the five direc¬
tions: horizontai, verticai, and the posi¬
tions A (22.5°), B (45°), and C (67. 5°).
Mount the unit by referring to the fig¬
ures beiow.
Caution
•
Set the angle-adjusting hole to the same angle as
selected.
• Set the holes correctly of the left and right sides
without fail.
