and the compressor. Inside it, there is a "GM" metal grid that acts as
a sponge and absorbs water, increasing the exchange surface and
facilitating the evaporation of the condensation water; this "grid/
sponge" must be regularly extracted and cleaned with soap and
water or in the dishwasher.
Filter cleaning
On the right-hand side of the condenser is a "FL" filter held in place
by two metal clips. Periodically remove it and wash it with soap
and water. After waiting for it to dry completely, put it back in its
place. Do not operate the machine without the filter installed.
Long shutdowns
During long shutdowns, disconnect the power and water supply
(if equipped). Protect the equipment's external steel parts wiping
them with a smooth cloth slightly damped with Vaseline oil.
Leave the door ajar to guarantee a correct air exchange.
For reactivation, before using:
- carry out an careful cleaning of the equipment and accessories;
- reconnect the equipment to the electrical and water supply (if
equipped);
- carry out an equipment inspection before reusing it;
- restart the equipment for at least 60 minutes without any food
inside.
To be sure that the equipment is maintained in
perfect use and safety conditions, we recom-
mend the execution of a maintenance and in-
spection service by an authorised assistance
centre, at least once a year.
