To Resume Therapy
• Reapply leg sleeve/foot cuff(s). Remember to keep the tubing free of kinks. To avoid
tripping hazard, do not place power cord, tubing, or Controller in walk areas. Refer to
Section 2, Getting Started, Steps 4 and 5.
• Press the Power On/Standby button to turn on the Controller.
• Remember if you are using Foot Cuffs, you will have to press the indicated A and/or
B button(s) to confirm.

Ending Therapy

When you have completed your therapy according to your physician's directions:
• Press the Power On/Standby button to turn off the Controller.
• Unwrap and remove the garment(s) from your limb(s).
• To disconnect the tubing from garment(s), grasp opposing sides of the tubing con-
nector assembly firmly in each hand and pull apart.
• Discard garment(s).
• To disconnect the tubing from the Controller, grasp the Controller firmly in one hand
and the connector in the other hand and pull apart.
• Remove the power cord from the electrical outlet by grasping the connector. Do not
pull the cord.
• Return the system to your medical equipment provider. Follow provider's directions
for repackaging Controller and tubing for return.
Do not dispose of Controller or tubing. Return Controller and tubing to your
medical equipment provider.
If something is spilled, or the Controller and tubing become dirty, refer to
Section 4 - Cleaning.

Do not walk or bathe while using device.

Back-up Battery Power

It is recommended that you connect the Controller to AC power, while on or on
standby. If you are unable to use AC power, the Controller can run on battery power.
Fully charged
15 - 40 minutes of charge
Less than 15 minutes of charge
When there is less than 15 minutes of battery
charge remaining, the Controller will beep and the
low battery screen will display.

Charging the Battery

The battery will begin charging as soon
as the Controller is plugged into an AC
power source.
The battery pack contains Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery cells and must be used properly
for safety and to maintain optimal performance.
WARNING
Do not open battery, dispose of in fire, or short circuit. Doing so may cause the
battery to ignite, explode, leak, or become hot and cause personal injury.
Do not touch or ingest any leaking electrolyte. If contact occurs, rinse skin
and/or eyes immediately and seek medical attention if irritation develops. If
ingested, contact local poison control center.
