7. Select and confirm the volume for the
alarm tone.
After confirming, the display
shows that the alarm clock has
been saved.
Next to the battery indicator, you can see
whether the alarm clock is switched on
by the display of 1 or two bell symbols.
Switching off a ringing alarm clock
1. If the alarm rings, deactivate it by
pressing twice on the volume control
(3).
Press the volume control (3) only once,
activate the snooze function and the
alarm will ring again after 9 minutes until
you press the volume control (3) twice.
Setting the backlighting
1. Select "Lighting" in the System menu.
2. Scroll through the list using the
NEXT / PREV buttons (11/14) or the
volume control knob (3).
3. Push the volume control knob (3) to
confirm the selected list entry.
4. Select the intensity of the backlighting
with the NEXT / PREV buttons (11/14)
or with the volume control (3).
5. Press the volume control (3) to confirm
the setting.
Configuring the automatic
switch-off
1. Select "Sleep" in the system menu.
2. In the sleep menu, deactivate the auto-
matic switch-off or select a number of
minutes after which the device should
switch off by pressing the volume con-
trol (3) to confirm your selection.
The timer until switch-off is
shown on the display next to the
battery indicator.
Setting the language
1. Select "Language" in the System menu.
2. Scroll through the list using the
NEXT / PREV buttons (11/14) or the
volume control knob (3).
3. Push the volume control knob (3) to
confirm the setting.
Equalizer
The device offers 5 predefined
equalizer modes: Normal, Jazz,
Popular, Classical, Rock.
You can also set the equalizer manually.
To do this, select "My Equalizer" and read
"Set Equalizer Manually".
1. Press and hold the Info/Advanced but-
ton (9) for approx. 2 seconds to access
the Settings menu.
2. Scroll to the list entry "System" using
the NEXT / PREV buttons (11/14) or
the volume control (3).
3. Push the volume control knob (3) to
confirm the selection.
4. Scroll to the list entry "Equalizer" using
the NEXT / PREV buttons (11/14) or
the volume control (3).
Push the volume control knob (3) to
confirm the selection.
5. Select one of the 5 predefined equaliz-
er modes or "My Equalizer" for a man-
ual setting and confirm the selection by
pressing the volume control (3).
Setting the equalizer manually
• Adjust the bass and treble individually.
Press the Tune button (12) to select
between "LOUD ON" and "LOUD
OFF", here you set the bass on or
off in quick access.
