Voltage detector
nominal voltage scale from 12 to 690 V.
Never connect the voltage tester to voltage for
more than thirty seconds (Maximum connec-
tion period allowed = 30 s.).
Connect the electrodes on the test handles
(A) and (B) to the installation to be tested.
In the case of DC voltage above 12 V, the
LED's (6) and (7) will light up to a greater or
lesser extent. The LED's light up progressively
according to the voltage being tested.
5.1. Testing polarity on DC voltage.
The voltage tester can only be used within the
nominal voltage scale from 12 to 690 V.
Never connect the voltage tester to voltage for
more than thirty seconds (Maximum connec-
tion period allowed = 30 s.).
Connect the electrodes (1) on test handles
(A) and (B) to the installation to be tested.
If LED (6) lights up, "the positive pole" of the
equipment being tested is on test handle (A).
If LED (7) lights up, "the negative pole" of the
equipment being tested is on test handle (A).
6. Testing an electricity conductor circuit
(Continuity test).
The continuity test must not be carried out on
active equipment and, where necessary, the
condensers must be discharged.
The necessary voltage for the test is supplied
by the voltage power source integrated into
the test handle (A).
Testing is possible within the scale of 0 to 1 M Ω.
