red and yellow diodes are on, the battery is partly
discharged. If only the red diode is on, the charging
level is low and the battery must be charged.
SPINDLE BRAKE
The drill/driver has an electronic brake that stops
the spindle immediately after the switch button
is released (9). The brake ensures screw driving
and drilling precision as it does not allow for free
movement of the spindle after the tool is switched
off.
WORK / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON - OFF
Switching on - press the switch button (9).
Switching off - release the switch button (9).
Each time you press the switch button (9), the LED
(10) is that illuminates the workpiece is illuminated.
ROTATIONAL SPEED CONTROL
The drilling/driving speed can be controlled during
work by increasing or reducing the extent to which
the switch button (9) is pressed in. Speed control
enables a slow start which, in the event of drilling
holes in gypsum or ceramic materials, prevents the
bit from sliding and, in the event of screw driving,
enables controlled work of the tool.
OVERLOAD COUPLING
By setting the torque control ring (3) in a selected
position, you can permanently set a specific torque
of the coupling. After the set value is reached, the
overload coupling is automatically disconnected.
This prevents driving screws too deep and protects
the tool against damage.
TORQUE ADJUSTMENT
• Different screws and materials require different
values of torque.
• The larger the number corresponding to the
position of the drill, the larger the torque
(fig. D)
• Set the torque control ring (3) as appropriate to
achieve a specific value of torque.
• Always start working with a lower value of torque.
• Increase the torque gradually until a desirable
result is achieved.
• Select higher values for unscrewing screws.
• The value for drilling should correspond to the
position indicated by the drill symbol. In this
position, the highest value of torque is achieved.
• The skills related to selection of appropriate
torque values come with practice.
When the torque control ring is set in the drilling
position, the overload coupling is inactive.
INSTALLATION OF A BIT
• Set the rotation direction switch (5) in the central
position.
• By turning the chuck ring (2) counterclockwise
(see the marking on the ring), you can open the
chuck as required to put in the drill or screwdriver
bit (fig. E).
• In order to fix the bit, turn the chuck ring (2)
clockwise and tighten it.
In order to uninstall the bit, perform the actions
described above in the reverse order.
When fixing the drill or a screwdriver bit in the
chuck, pay attention to proper position of the tool.
When using short drills or bits, use an additional
magnetic grip as an extension.
RIGHT-LEFT ROTATION DIRECTION
Using the rotation direction switch (5) you can select
the spindle rotation direction (fig. F).
Right - set the switch (5) in the far left position.
Left - set the switch (5) in the far right position.
* In some cases, the position of the switch in relation to the
rotation direction may be different than described above.
Refer to the graphic signs located on the switch or the housing
of the power tool.
A safe position is the central position of the rotation
direction switch (5), which prevents accidental
activation of the power tool.
• In this position, the driver/drill cannot be
activated.
• This position is intended for changing drills and
bits.
• Before you turn on the power tool, check if the
rotation direction switch (5) is in the proper
position.
Do not change the direction of rotation when the
spindle of the driver/drill is turning.
CHANGE OF GEAR
The gear shift switch (4) (fig. G) enables increasing
the rotational speed range.
