PREPARATION FOR WORK
PUTTING BATTERY IN/OUT
• Set the rotation direction switch (5) in the central
position.
• Push the battery fixing button (8) and take out the
battery (7) (fig. A).
• Slide a charged battery (7) into the handle grip
until you hear a clicking sound emitted by the
battery fixing button (8).
CHARGING THE BATTERY
The drill/driver is supplied with a partly charged
battery. The battery must be charged at ambient
temperature in the range of 4
battery or a battery that has not been used for a
long time will reach its full capacity after about 4-5
charging cycles.
• Take out the battery (7) from the drill/driver
(fig. A).
• Connect the charger to a power supply network
socket (230 V AC).
• Slide the battery (7) into the charger (12)
(fig. B).Check if the battery is properly set
(inserted all the way).
The charger features diodes (11) that indicate work
status (see description below).
• Green diode on without battery in the
charger - indicates connection to power
supply.
• Red diode on with battery in the charger -
indicates that battery charging is in progress.
• Green diode on with battery in the charger
- indicates that battery charging is complete.
When battery inserted in the charger is too hot,
or gets hot during charging (above 45°C), the
charging process is stopped (indicated with green
diode). In such case remove the battery from the
charger, wait for approximately 30 minutes and
put it back in the charger. This temperature rise
inside the battery is not likely and may never
occur.
During charging, the battery becomes very
hot. Do not use the battery immediately after
charging; wait until the temperature of the battery
drops to room temperature. This will prevent
damage to the battery
BATTERY CHARGING LEVEL INDICATION
The drill/driver is provided with a system that
indicates the battery charging level (LED). In order to
check the battery charging level, press the charging
level indication button (13) (fig. C). If all diodes are
on (14), the battery charging level is high. If the
