P5 Resets filter reset count with motor OFF. NOTE The filter timer is maintained even in the absence of power
With motor ON, trigger TIMER 5'
L2 Shows: 1) with motor off, the FILTER RESET IN RED, (30hours Steady LED, 120hours flashing LED)
2) In FLASHING GREEN the TIMER 5'
CONTROLS shown in Fig. 11: Key A = switches off lights; if the key is pressed while the lights are on, light intensity
drops as far as zero; if the key is kept pressed for a few seconds, the lights go out.
Key B = turns light on. The lights come on according to the last level of intensity set. By pressing the key while the
lights are on, light intensity increases; by keeping the key pressed for a few seconds, light intensity goes directly to
maximum level.
Display C = - indicates the selected speed of the motor (the letter H indicates intensive speed); - indicates triggering
of the Timer when the point flashes; - indicates the filter alarm when the letter "F" appears (with motor off).
Key D = motor stop / filter alarm reset / timer; by pressing the key while the motor is running: motor speed drops to
zero; by keeping the key pressed for about 2 seconds (until the speed number disappears off the screen), the motor
stops; by keeping the key pressed for about 5 seconds, the TIMER is engaged, and consequently after 5 minutes
the motor stops (the point flashes on the screen). By pressing the key with the motor off, during alarm display, the
filter alarm is RESET, and the hour count starts again.
Key E = starts the motor (at 3rd speed because this is considered best); by pressing the key while the motor is running,
the motor speed increases; by keeping the key pressed for a few seconds, the motor goes directly to top speed. Grease
filter alarm: the letter "F" appears on the screen, after which the alarm goes off and reappears when the motor is
switched off again. This indicates 30 hood operating hours have passed and the grease filters need cleaning.
Charcoal filter alarm: the letter "F" flashes on the screen, after which the alarm goes off and reappears when the motor
is switched off again. This indicates 120 hours of hood operation have passed and the charcoal filters need replacing
(filter version appliances) and the grease filters need cleaning.
CONTROLS shown in Fig. 12: Button A = turns the lights on/off.
Button B = turns the TIMER on/off: press once to turn the timer on, therefore, after 5 minutes, the motor cuts out (at
the same time the selected speed blinks on the display); the timer remains on if the motor speed is changed.
Display C = - indicates the selected motor speed (from 1 to 4); - indicates Timer On when the number blinks; - indicates
Filter Alarm when the central segments is on or blinking.
Button D = makes the motor work (at the last speed selected); pushing the button again, the speeds of the motor are
sequentially selected from 1 to 4; keeping this button pressed for about 2 seconds shuts down the motor.
Button R = Filter alarm RESET; to start the hour count again, keep key 2 pressed for 2 seconnds during alarm display.
Grease filter alarm: the central part of the screen lights up (with motor off), meaning the grease filters need cleaning
(30 operating hours have passed). Charcoal filter alarm : the central part of the screen flashes (with motor off), meaning
that the charcoal filters need replacing (for filter version models) and the grease filters need cleaning (120 hours of
operation have passed).
Grease filters: special attention must be given to the grease filters which must be periodically cleaned, whenever
the grease filter alarm trips. For instructions of the filter Alarm, refer to the Controls paragraph. Remove the filters
as shown in para. 1 and wash with neutral detergent.
Charcoal filters: if the filtering version appliance is used, the charcoal filters will have to be periodically replaced
when the charcoal filter alarm trips. For instructions on the filter Alarm, refer to the Controls paragraph.
Lighting: to change the halogen bulbs open the cover levering from the proper slots (Fig. 15). Replace with bulbs
of the same type. CAUTION: Do not handle glass bulb with bare hands. If, after replacing the halogen lights, these
fail to work, allow the appliance to cool and then interrupt power for a few seconds.
