CONNECTING THE CUTTING HEAD ASSEMBLY TO THE POWER HEAD
ASSEMBLY
1. Stop the motor and remove the battery pack.
2. Insert the large plain washer into the throat of the coupler on the cutting head
assembly as shown in Fig. 2a and keep it in place.
3. Remove the end cap from the power head assembly and keep it in a safe place for
later use. With the hole in the pole facing up, insert the pole into the coupler of the
cutting head assembly as far as it will go. Make sure the bolt hole in the coupler
aligns with the hole in the pole. Insert the short bolt and finger-tighten it (Fig. 2a).
4. I nsert the two plain washers into the slots in the coupler, ensure the flat of the
washer is facing the pole and align the two holes in the coupler with the holes in the
washers (Fig. 2b).
5. Insert the two long bolts as shown in Fig. 2b.
6. Securely tighten all the three bolts with the included hex key.
