A crimping tool with the following characteristics is required for crimping the cable to the tensioner and the end piece:
Crimping characteristics: 130 kN of force
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: (These instructions must be strictly observed)
During transportation, keep the equipment away from any cutting edges and keep it in its packaging. Clean with water if necessary. Maintenance is
especially important given that after installing a lifeline, it is generally the only way to make sure to be protected against falls.
INSTALLATION STAGES:
Prior to installation, all the system components must be inspected to make sure they are free from defects and deformation.
END ANCHORS
Before starting the installation, identify the locations of the end and intermediate components, taking care to follow the spacings between them as
determined during the survey. Reminder: the minimum spacing is 5 metres and the maximum is 15 metres.
