SPEEDBOX SERIES ELECTRONIC VARIATOR
SOLUTION: lack of feed water, the safety system has tripped: check the supply of the
hydraulic circuit. If you need to prime the pump, use the manual start button START/STOP
(check that the AUTOMATIC led is off, otherwise press to deactivate it)
Special case: if we have programmed a set pressure higher than what the pump can supply,
the device also interprets it as a failure due to lack of water.
Special case 2: This device performs water shortage detection through current
consumption measurement. It must be verified that the nominal current of the pump
entered in the configuration menu is that indicated on the nameplate.
A2 OVERCURRENT (
DESCRIPTION: depending on the intensity entered in the installation menu, the system
protects the pump from possible intensity overloads, generally caused by malfunctions
in the pumps or in the power supply. SYSTEM RESPONSE After detecting the overcurrent
fault, the pump will be stopped automatically. The system will try to start the pump again
when consumption demand requires it. Up to 4 attempts will be made, at the end of which,
if the system continues to detect the fault, the pump will be permanently out of service.
SOLUTION: check the condition of the pump, for example that there is no rotor blockage,
etc. Verify that the data entered in the configuration menu regarding pump consumption is
appropriate. Once the problem has been solved, to restore the operation of the pump you
must go to the "SETTINGS" menu and enter the appropriate intensity values.
A3 PUMP DISCONNECT (
DESCRIPTION: The Speedbox has an electronic protection system in case it does not
detect a connected load.
SYSTEM RESPONSE: device disconnection.
SOLUTION: check the motor winding and verify the pump consumption. Once the
problem with said pump has been solved, to restore its operation you must go to the
"CONFIGURATION" menu (see configuration) and enter the appropriate intensity value.
Check fuse, if it is blown, contact technical service (Fig.3).
A5 TRANSDUCER (
DESCRIPTION: the Speedbox informs us on the LCD screen of faults in the pressure sensor.
SYSTEM RESPONSE: device operation is interrupted.
SOLUTION: The external pressure transmitter will be checked or replaced.
