SPEEDBOX SERIES ELECTRONIC VARIATOR
If it is necessary to increase the cable length, an external splice will be made following the
guidelines of the low voltage regulations applicable to the country of installation.
-Check that the line voltage is 220/240 V. Remove the electronic circuit cover and make the
connections according to the instructions on the base of the connection strips.
-Connect the general power supply (ensuring that there is an effective ground connection)
to LN using a magneto-thermal switch appropriate to the installed power and in the
disconnection position (OFF).
-The ground conductor must be longer than the phase conductors and must be the first to
be connected during assembly and the last to be disconnected during disassembly.
-Connect pump (fig. 3 and 4).
-Normally the device is supplied with the pressure transmitter already connected and with
a cable length of 1.5 m. Otherwise, connect the pressure transmitter (fig. 3 and 4). H03VV
2x0.5 mm cable will be used.
If it is necessary to increase the cable length, an external splice will be made following the
guidelines of the low voltage regulations applicable to the country of installation - the cable
length should not exceed 15 m.
-In case of assembly in an M-S group, its pressure transmitter will be connected to each
equipment.
-Connect the minimum level control (optional): the SPEEDBOX has an input that
deactivates the pump as soon as it receives a signal from an external minimum level
detector. For its connection see fig. 3.
Minimum level control in the case of MASTER-SLAVE communication (optional):
both units must be connected to the same level control. It is very important not
to cross the polarity between both connectors. See figure 6.
Connect the 2 devices (optional): for communication between 2 devices, a
4x0.25 mm type cable will be used that will be introduced through the PG
cable gland located at the bottom of the device cover. See fig.5.
ATTENTION! Incorrect connections can irreparably damage the electronic circuit.
The manufacturer will not be responsible for any damage caused to the device due to
incorrect connection.
9. START-UP INDIVIDUAL ASSEMBLY
-Proceed to prime the pump.
-Connect the SPEEDBOX to the electrical network with the magneto-thermal switch, all the
light indicators will light up instantly and go off immediately. The device will then carry out
a SELF-TEST for about 10 seconds, after which the "LINE" indicator lights up.
-The device is now ready for configuration.
