CAUTION
Risk of damage to the device!
The flame detector may be damaged by high voltage insulation tests and other
cable testing operations. It should only be installed after these tests are
complete. The detector electronics shall be protected from mechanical damage
and external sources of EMI such as X-rays, RFI and electrostatic discharge.
The detector should not face directly towards the sun.
► Do not drop or knock the enclosure as this may damage the detector
assembly.
► Only appropriately trained service personnel may open the enclosure.
Before installing the flame detector Dräger recommends to check the
mounting locations to ensure that no changes have been made during
construction that will affect detector coverage.

Mechanical installation
The mounting bracket allows the vertical orientation of the flame detector to be
adjusted from 0 to 45° and allows a horizontal rotation of up to 90°.
1. Fix the mounting bracket to a secure and stable mounting location using
8 mm fastenings (not supplied).
2. The flame detector can be mounted on both a horizontal and vertical
surface.
