Problem
No function when ON/OFF Switch is operated
Sanding Sleeve (25) does not rotate with Sleeve Drum (31)
Sanding Belt does not remain at same height in use
Large amounts of dust are being produced
Sanding drum not operating at full speed or motor sounds
different to normal

No power
Defective ON/OFF Switch
Spindle Nut (27) not tight enough
Tracking adjustment incorrect
Dust extractor passage is blocked
Incorrect Throat Plate used
Motor over-heating
Motor faulty
Brushes need replacing
Motor belt worn or stretched
Solution
Check power supply
Have the ON/OFF Switch replaced at an authorised
Triton service centre
Tighten Spindle Nut in small increments until the Sleeve
Drum secures the Sanding Sleeve

Turn off the machine at the mains. Remove the spindle
sander components or belt sander unit and remove the
blockage from the dust extractor passage
Change to the correct-sized Throat Plate
Change to the correct-sized Throat Plate
Switch OFF and allow to cool for a ½ hour
