Children younger than 8 must be kept away from the device
and the power cable.
Only operate the protection class II device on a 240 V~, 50 Hz
earthed power socket that is close by and easy to access or by
inserting 8 x 1.5 V, UM-1/D/R20 batteries into the battery com-
partment.
The power socket must be easily accessible so that you can
unplug the device from the mains quickly if necessary.
Unplug the device from the socket:
– when you are cleaning the device
– if you are no longer using the device
– when the device is unattended
– during thunderstorms
Always hold the plug to pull it out and never pull the power
cord.
Do not immerse the device in water or other liquids or hold
it under running water because this could cause an electric
shock.
Do not place the device near to sinks and do not expose it to
water droplets or spray.
Use the device indoors only.
Do not use the device outdoors.
Do not allow the power cord to come into contact with hot
objects or surfaces.
Do not use if the device if the device or the power cord is visi-
bly damaged or if the device has been dropped.
Check the device and the power cord for damage before us-
ing the device for the first time, and after each use.
Completely unwind the power cord.
Do not kink or crush the power cord.
Contact our customer service team without delay if the de-
vice has been damaged during transport.
