10. Playing back CDs/USB/MicroSD storage de-
vices
You can play back CDs as well as USB and MicroSD storage devices.
Playing back CDs:
Set the operating mode switch to CD.
Playing back CDs/MicroSD storage devices:
Set the operating mode switch to MUSIC/AUX/USB/SD.
10.1. Inserting a CD
Make sure that there is approx. 10 cm of space in front of the device so that the cov-
er of the CD compartment is not obstructed during opening.
Press OPEN/CLOSE on the CD compartment lid to open it.
The CD compartment lid opens to the front. OP will appear on the display.
Place a CD with the labelled side facing to the front onto the axis in the centre of
the CD compartment.
Press lightly on the side, so that it clicks into place on the axis.
Close the CD compartment by gently pressing the compartment lid. The CD will
start to rotate and appears on the display.
If no disc is inserted, or if the disc cannot be read, NO will appear on the display.
Wait until the CD has stopped rotating before opening the CD compart-
ment. Press STOP first.
10.2. Inserting USB memory sticks
Insert the USB memory stick into the USB port.
Select USB mode on the display by pressing the MODE button.
The tracks are read and the device immediately starts to play the first track.
USB devices cannot be charged in the USB port.
10.3. Inserting MicroSD storage devices
Insert the MicroSD storage device in the MICRO SD port.
Select CARD mode on the display by pressing the MODE button.
The tracks are read and the device immediately starts to play the first track.
